Medals of Freedom and Cargo Planes
This morning's New York Times showed President Bush awarding Medals of Freedom to three key players in the Iraq war: Tommy Franks, Paul Bremer, and George Tenet. Several pages back was a much smaller article announcing the expanded use of cargo planes in place of trucks in Iraq. It is simply too dangerous, a year and nine months into the war, to move cargo around in Iraq, so we are using cargo planes instead.
